My goal this year is simple: train hard, ride A LOT, raise $6,500 over two rides and nearly 850 benefit miles, and make sure you know why I do it - because someone has to.
In 2011, I have committed to riding my bike from Los Angeles to San Francisco (545 miles) and from Boston to New York (292 miles) all in an effort to raise public awareness and much needed funds for the education, support and treatment of those living with HIV. I welcome you to explore this site, follow my progress and, most of all, do something!

AIDS/LifeCycle is a fully supported, 7-day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, June 5-11, 2011. It’s a life-changing ride—not a race—through some of California’s most beautiful countryside. AIDS/LifeCycle is co-produced by the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and is designed to advance their shared interest to end the pandemic and human suffering caused by AIDS.

Braking the Cycle: We are not just another AIDS ride. Over seven years, we have built a family that loves and cares for each other year round. We laugh and cry together, we care for you like family. Each year more than two-thirds of our participants return. And together, we accomplish something amazing: In the past three years alone, Braking the Cycle has delivered over $1.2 million to fund the HIV/AIDS services of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center. Over three days and 285 miles from Boston to New York City, we spread AIDS awareness in the towns and villages we visit. We’re a small ride, but we're a big family making a huge impact, and each year we welcome new members into the fold. http://www.aidslifecycle.org/http://brakingthecycle.org/shapeimage_2_link_0shapeimage_2_link_1
